ニューイヤーコンサートを聴きながら ♪ listening to New Year's Concert

ウィーンフィル・ニューイヤーコンサートを見るたび
外国はまだクリスマスなんだなあと羨ましく思います。
お節料理をいただくと、日本人でよかったと思うのですが…

Every time I enjoy Vienna New Year's Concert on television on January 1,
I envy those who live in Europe where Christmas continues until Epiphany.

阪急百貨店9階（2019年11－12月）の
屋内のクリスマスマーケットは寒さ知らず。
しかも、昼間でもライトアップ気分でした。

ここのクリスマスツリーの多くは本物の樅の木でした。
「明日は樅の木になろう」とがんばっている
あすなろ、いえ、メタセコイアを思い出します。

Almost all the trees in this market were real fir trees.
The above one reminds me of the below metasequoia.
